Puzzle pieces have a wrong orientation (too many corners etc)

Please make sure that the rotation for puzzles is turned off. When rotation is on, it may seem that there are extra pieces in a puzzle, that pieces do not fit, or that there is more than one puzzle in a puzzle. Rotation can be turned off on the Select difficulty screen before starting a puzzle. Please select any puzzle, turn off rotation on the Select difficulty screen, and check.
